The warranty below applies to products manufactured after August 1, 1999.

Geiger warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship from the initial delivery date–regardless of the number of shifts during which products are used–for the applicable warranty period. Products must have been installed, used, and maintained according to Geiger’s published instructions and must not have been subjected to unreasonable use, including field cutting or other modification.

The following features of natural materials are not defects:
• changes in wood color due to aging or exposure to light;
• natural variations in wood grain or figure or the presence of character marks;
• marks, scars, or wrinkles occurring in leather; and
• veins, marks, voids, fissures, or cracks found in stone.

Geiger's warranty does not cover:
• defects resulting from normal wear and tear;
• products acquired for personal, family, or household purposes;
• consumable products, such as light bulbs, or certain electronic products;
• the matching of the colors, grains, or textures of natural materials;
• the colorfastness or the matching of colors of textiles, including an exact match to cuttings or to swatch cards; or
• Customer’s own fabrics (“COM”) or any other Customer-supplied materials.

Except as limited, excluded or disclaimed above, Geiger warrants its products for 12 years.

If a product, part, or component is found to contain a defect of material or workmanship within the applicable warranty period, Geiger will repair it or will replace it with a comparable product, at its option, free of charge. Replacement products or parts will be shipped to Customer at Geiger’s expense. The terms of this section are Customer’s exclusive remedy for warranty claims.

There are no other warranties except as expressly set forth above, either express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose.

Textile and Leather Warranty

Geiger does not warrant its textiles or leathers against fading, crocking, wear abrasion, shrinking, stretching, seam slippage, tearing, discoloration from liquid contact, or alteration in color due to any finish treatment such as stain repellents, flame retardants, etc.

Geiger does not warrant against pile loss when a fabric with pile is applied directly to foam rubber, nor does it warrant against dye lot differences.

Marks, scars, or wrinkles that occur in leather are not considered defects but rather are inherent characteristics of natural materials. Geiger cannot control the size or location of these natural imperfections.

Geiger does not warrant the colorfastness or matching of the colors, grains, or textures of natural materials, nor warrant an exact match to cuttings, memos, or swatch cards.

Geiger may substitute fiber content or yarns at its discretion.

All Geiger textiles are labeled to indicate that they meet or exceed ACT standards and are manufactured to comply with the standards set forth in the State of California Home Furnishings Act, Bulletin 117. However, Geiger does not warrant or assume any responsibility for flame-retardant properties or compliance with any flammability standards.

If labeled textiles do not meet either of the two standards stated in the paragraph above, Geiger must replace them or refund the purchase price, at its option and expense. These terms are Customer’s exclusive remedy for warranty claims.

Geiger is not liable for loss of time, inconvenience, lost profits or other special, consequential, or incidental damages in connection with any transaction.

There are no other warranties except as expressly set forth above, either express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose.
