In 1964, Geiger designed its operations to satisfy the custom furniture needs of its customers. The ability to respond quickly and effectively to these needs could best be satisfied through the establishment of consistent standards employed to build highly flexible, modular components. Eventually, the application of this philosophy led the company away from custom furniture to focus on manufacturing of defined product ranges.
Today, Geiger's uniqueness lies in its unwavering commitment to sustain the characteristics of individually crafted, high-quality office furnishings while using high-volume production methods. Geiger combines strict material and product standards with the precision and efficiency of sophisticated information systems and computerized tools to deliver its customers an unequaled range of styles and sizes at competitive prices.
Geiger's mission is to provide its customers with contemporary furnishings of the highest standards in quality, design, and craftsmanship. The company fulfills this mission while constantly searching for new technologies and better ways to do so.
Geiger's newest facility, the Assemble to Order (ATO) factory, implements these efficient production systems and principles at an even deeper level. Production time is minimized, and output is significantly increased, allowing the shipment of many of the most popular Geiger products in four weeks.
